Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said “None of you fully believes until you love for your fellow human what you love for yourself”.

On behalf of our Members, Staff and Board of Directors, The Islamic Center of Inland Empire (ICIE) extends our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Floyd and all of the other victims of violence based on racism and injustice who have suffered for far too long.

We understand that systemic racism has left Black Americans carrying a heavy weight of fear for themselves and their loved ones. We understand the pain and anguish, the sadness and the rage that this terrible incident has triggered. We stand in solidarity with our Black Brothers and Sisters, Muslims or Non-Muslims in condemning all forms or police brutality, violence and racism. As Muslims we must condemn all forms of oppression, uphold justice and address these inequalities in our society.

ICIE will be participating in the Day of Outrage, this Friday June 5th 2020, with a khutbah on condemning police brutality and racism in all forms.

We pray that Allah protect you and your families and unite us against all forms of injustice.
