About ICIE

The Islamic Center of Inland Empire (ICIE) is located at the heart of the Rancho Cucamonga at 9212 Baseline Rd enclosing over 2.98 acre lands. We have been operating as a full time masjid on these premises for since September 2000. At the heart of the Rancho Cucamonga, the Islamic Center of Inland Empire enclosing over 2.98 acre lands. The center now serves the growing Muslim population of the Inland Empire.

 

Its humble beginnings as Muslim Education Community Center of America (MECCA) was started by a group of families in 1992 conducting religious, social, and cultural activities in a small warehouse on 9th street in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Recognizing the growing needs of our Muslim community, the existing land was bought in 1998. The center obtained its Non-profit organization status in 2000.

Vision

The Vision of ICIE is to be an exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in the Inland Empire in general and Rancho Cucamonga and its surrounding cities in particular. The center aims to make civic contributions for the betterment of the Muslim community and the inland communities at large.

Mission

The mission of ICIE is to provide religious services to the Muslim community of Rancho Cucamonga and its adjacent cities by supporting Muslim communities, developing educational, social and outreach programs, and fostering good relations with other religious communities, civic and social service organizations.

We have various recurring activities, including offering the daily and Friday prayers, and we are open to all. Please check out our calendar for upcoming events.

We are actively involved in the County wide activities through the San Bernardino Clergy Association as well as its sub initiative called Inland Congregation United for Change.  We participate is community unity activities such as Unity walk. We hold a number of educational programming, including “Islam 101”. We give talks in the Rancho Cucamonga Community Center. We are partnering with United Way 211 program where we play a facilitative role in triaging for with them and providing in-language assistance.

We also work with local hospitals and provide Quran and dua books for Muslims in hospice care.
